BLACK WEALTH CONNECT WOMEN'S SUMMIT 2025
Following months of excitement and a powerful wave of community momentum, the sold-out Black Wealth Connect Women’s Summit 2025 unfolded with intention and brilliance, bringing together 150 women for a full day of connection, learning, and empowerment. Hosted at the Footscray Community Arts Centre in Melbourne, the summit embraced its uplifting theme, Blossom & Bloom, inviting attendees to step boldly into new seasons of growth, purpose, and possibility.
This year’s summit featured three extraordinary keynote speakers, Ursula Lepporoli, Emmagness Ruzvidzo, and Kemi Nekvapil, each offering transformative insights across financial literacy, wellbeing, leadership, personal branding, and self-empowerment. Their sessions equipped women with practical tools, renewed confidence, and powerful reminders of the strength rooted within community and lived experience.
A standout element of the day was the depth of conversation brought by the panels. The Garden She Built explored the foundations women create in business, leadership, and wealth building, highlighting the resilience and strategy required to cultivate long-lasting success. The Bloom Belongs to Her followed with a powerful discussion on growth, self-worth, and the right of every woman to flourish authentically, confidently, and without apology.
Three immersive breakout sessions added further value, covering property ownership, business structure and staff retention, and a deeply creative Floral Workshop that embodied the summit’s theme of blossoming. These sessions supported women at all stages, entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives, and emerging leaders alike.
The summit also highlighted artistry and culture, with soulful live performances by Kye and Edith Peace, presented by the Black Music Alliance, adding joy and resonance to the day’s celebrations. A vibrant marketplace of vendor stalls showcased talented women entrepreneurs, further elevating community connection and economic empowerment.
Brought to life by Black Wealth Connect, Effie Nkrumah, and Next in Colour, the 2025 summit championed empowerment, education, and legacy, reminding every woman that her growth and brilliance matter deeply.
We absolutely cannot wait for 2026.
