Meet the Women Behind the Moment

The 2026 International Women’s Day Brunch is brought to life by an inspiring group of women and women-led organisations dedicated to empowerment, connection, and celebration. Leading the charge are Pola Practice, Nasalyfia, and Tigist, who bring their expertise, creativity, and vision to make this event truly memorable.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with Girls Chat, a women-led organisation focused on creating safe spaces for dialogue and support, and Charmaine Humzi of Safe Space, who is dedicated to fostering environments where women can share, learn, and grow confidently. Effie Nkrumah brings her dynamic leadership to inspire growth and empowerment within communities. Next in Colour, represented by Geskeva Komba and Ruth, will contribute their unique perspective on creativity and representation, highlighting the richness of culture and experience.

The brunch is presented by Black Wealth Connect, an organisation dedicated to amplifying Black women’s voices, creating opportunities, and building wealth within the community. Together, these incredible women and organisations ensure the 2026 International Women’s Day Brunch is a celebration, a platform for inspiration, and a space for meaningful connection.
