Apply to pitch live at the Black Wealth Connect Summit.
The Innovators Pitch is an exciting new addition to the Black Wealth Connect Summit, giving entrepreneurs the chance to showcase their business to investors, strategic partners, and the wider Black Wealth Connect network. Selected innovators will present live and have the opportunity to gain exposure, mentorship, and support to grow their ventures. Finalists will be evaluated by a panel of industry leaders and community partners, and winners will receive a $5,000 giveaway along with business mentoring to help take their ideas further.
Applications are open for the 2026 BWC Summit. A submission fee of $50 AUD is required to complete your application. Please make your payment via Eventbrite using the “BWC Summit Innovators Pitch” ticket option and enter your Eventbrite order number in the last section of the registration form. Applications without a valid order number will not be reviewed.
Entries close on Monday, 27 April 2026 at 5:00 PM AEDT.

The Innovators Pitch is an exciting new addition to the Black Wealth Connect Summit, giving founders the opportunity to pitch their business live on stage to investors, strategic partners, and the wider Black Wealth Connect network.
Founders and co-founders building innovative businesses across any sector are eligible to apply. Businesses can be at idea, early-stage, or growth stage, provided there is a clear value proposition and path to sustainability.
A registered business is encouraged but not required at the application stage. However, applicants should be actively working on their idea or venture.
Yes. A $50 AUD submission fee is required to complete your application. Payment must be made via Eventbrite using the “BWC Summit Innovators Pitch” ticket option, and your Eventbrite order number must be entered in the final section of the application form. Applications without a valid order number will not be reviewed.
We welcome businesses across all industries, including technology, finance, creative industries, consumer products, social impact, health, and education. We are particularly interested in solutions that create economic opportunity and financial empowerment.
Applications are assessed based on innovation and problem-solving, market opportunity and viability, traction or proof of concept where applicable, alignment with Black Wealth Connect’s mission, and clarity and strength of the pitch.
A shortlist of 8–10 applicants will be invited to the next stage, with a maximum of 4 innovators selected to pitch live on stage at the Summit.
Finalists will pitch live on the Summit stage, gain exposure to investors and industry leaders, and compete for a $5,000 cash reward. Winners will also receive business mentoring and ongoing visibility across Black Wealth Connect platforms where applicable.
Yes. Finalists must be available to attend and pitch in person at their chosen Black Wealth Connect Summit.
Applications must be submitted through the official Black Wealth Connect website application form. Entries close for the Sydney Summit on Monday, 27 April 2026 at 5:00 PM AEDT and for the Melbourne Summit on Monday, 8 June 2026 at 5:00 PM AEDT.
Due to the volume of applications, individual feedback may not be guaranteed. However, general feedback or resources may be shared with shortlisted applicants.
Finalists will be given a set time to present on stage. Exact pitch format, time limit, and Q&A details will be shared with selected finalists ahead of the Summit.
